July 6th // Saturday // Who is your best friend?
My boyfriend. After that… hm… an old training colleague and friends from university.
July 7th // Sunday // What’s the next book you want to read?
Daring Greatly by Brené Brown.
July 8th // Monday // What do you have to lose?
Stuff. Taking myself too seriously. Debt. Bad relationship with money.
PS: Wow, I totally read this as what I should lose, but it could also be “what do you have to lose” as in “what’s stopping you?” If so… fear, insecurity and taking myself too seriously. Lack of money. (Wrong way of thinking, I know.)
July 9th // Tuesday // Today was awesome because __________ .
Discovered “The Conversation”. Decided to cut hair short again. Censored.
July 10th // Wednesday // When was the last time you spoke to your parents?
Just now on our walk together, and afterwards in our kitchen.
July 11th // Thursday// If you were a literary character, who would you be?
Hmm… can’t I just be me? No? George or Jo from Famous Five. Maximum Ride. (Before saving the world and being sappy.) Varjak Paw. (Come on, a karate cat!)
July 12th // Friday // _____________ is perfect.
Sex. My boyfriend. The weather. I’m hoping I get to wholeheartedly put down “my life” one day, which is pretty awesome… Just… you know. Not quite there yet.
Recap of last week
Pounded my to-do list into the ground including a couple of high-procrastination tasks… Success. Just in time for me to start into my next Feldenkrais training segment. The next three weeks may be kind of inactive around here, as I won’t be home much and when I am I’ll probably be tired…
After seeing it mentioned on blogs around the world for like the MILLIONTH time I caved in and bought “Daring Greatly” by Brené Brown. I loved her other books and TED talks and have had this on my “buy list” for quite some time now.
I recently joined the Find Your Voice challenge and am enjoying the tasks immensely. I practiced some calligraphy, completed another of the 52 Lists, wrote an offer to a client, wrapped up some client projects in time for my course and drank lots of tea. The weather has been heavenly for a (much needed) change and today I cut my hair back to really short. I’m liking it. Short hair feels so… liberating. And I don’t look like the toiletbrush I did the first time I cut it short without having a clue. Big plus there.
