And another catch-up List from Moorea Seal’s 52 Lists. These are totally getting addictive
I’m trying to stretch my creativity a bit on these now, to see how I can make my calligraphy more attractive and interesting. Just used some coloured bars in the same height as the script for this one, and again added some colour to the inside of some of the letters.
List the things that make you feel healthy
intense physical activity // getting my work done // sunshine and fresh air // expressing my creativity // hot baths and showers // eating good, healthy food // feeling and expressing love // staying in motion // learning something new // financial security // spending time with friends // listening to my body // getting plenty of sleep // taking care of myself // self kindness // expanding my limits // smiling and laughing // time spent alone, silence // staying true to myself
After mistreating myself mentally and physically for several years due to a disfunctional relationship, worries about my future and money, I’m beginning to feel that my life is slowly falling back into place… I’m starting to trust my instincts more and going with what feels right to me. I’m trying to set up a life that fits me as a person, even if it’s a bit complicated. I’m starting to treat myself better and I’m becoming more aware of my physical and emotional needs. I’m taking better care of myself. I’m being kind to myself. (No big self-lovey-dovey stuff for me, but I at least try and get on with myself better.)
The list above contains a lot of the things that are really vital for me to feel happy and safe.
I’m really falling in love with calligraphy, I’m hoping I stick with it this time, I can probably incorporate it into my graphics design (calligraphic logos and such) and I think it could potentially be used in my notebooks and art as well.
Charis suggested I could use it in the header when I redesign this site, which seems like a pretty neat idea as well
