Q & A // 5 Year Journal

Week 7

July 13th // Saturday // What are you sentimental about?
My old karate club.

July 14th // Sunday // Do you have a secret? More than one?
I really honestly can’t think of one right now.

July 15th // Monday // What is your heroic downfall? Your achilles heel?
Letting lack of money control my life.

July 16th // Tuesday // Are you wearing socks?
Yup. Purple with white spots.

July 17th // Wednesday // How can you help?
Selling beautiful design :)

July 18th // Thursday// What are the ingredients for a perfect day?
My boyfriend. Sunshine. Tea. Relaxation. Exquisite details.

July 19th // Friday // What do you need to throw away?
Old clothes I never wear anymore.

Week 8

July 20th // Saturday // Does anything hurt today?
Hayfever. It’s really bad this year.

July 21st // Sunday // Who was the last person to make you angry?
People who sentenced a rape-survivor to time in prison for pre-marital sex. I mean – WHAT THE F*** PEOPLE?!

July 22nd // Monday // Where do you go to for good ideas?
Pinterest. Deviantart. My fav bloggers. My inspiration pile in my cupboard :)

July 23rd // Tuesday // What was the last thing you baked or cooked?
Baked: White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake. Cooked: Chili con carne.

July 24th // Wednesday // What’s in your fridge?
Not technically my fridge. However, meat, cheese and a hell of a lot of stuff I probably don’t even want to know about ;)

July 25th // Thursday// If you could hire any artist (living or dead) to paint your portrait, who would you pick?
Alice X. Zhang, Charlie Bowater, Naomi Chen, Picasso, DaVinci

July 26th // Friday // Are you working hard, or hardly working?
Depends. One day on, one day off usually ;) Somewhere in between. And depends what I’m working on.

Week 9

July 27th // Saturday // What can you smell right now?
Scrambled eggs. With onion, spring onion and ham. Yum yum in my tum tum.

July 28th // Sunday // Write a phrase to describe your year so far.
Progress, but also a lot of bullshit and unnecessary busywork. Trying to get my business off the ground.

July 29th // Monday // What was the last road trip you took?
No idea. We drove to Italy in the car last summer, haven’t really been on a proper trip since.

July 30th // Tuesday // Today was unusual because ___________.
I just finished my most recent Feldenkrais Segment, it’s always weird to come back to “normal” life and I’m recovering from crashing the car yesterday.

July 31st // Wednesday // Today were you a wallflower or a social butterfly?
Anti-social wallflower. Post-Feldenkrais disorientation.

August 1st // Thursday// Do you need a cold shower?
Wouldn’t be the worst of ideas. It’s been pretty hot recently. My boyfriend and I have taken to visiting the local lake to swim :)

August 2nd // Friday // Describe the room you’re in right now.
Bedroom in my parents’ house. Doubles as my office. Needs tidying up. A lot.

Catch up post for July. I’m soooo behind on posting these here. Life is busy. Which means I have work, which is good.

Hehe, thank you :) They’re fun to do! I’m looking forward to seeing the results next year when I get to compare my new answers with the year before! That should be interesting. It’s a really fun little book, and so lovely to look at <3 Very beautifully designed.

Allergies suck. They’re better than when I was a kid, but they’re a huge pain someof the time :( I’ve tried lots of things, but so far nothing has helped… Although I’ve kind of got my eye on The Clean Gut Program, the book made a lot of sense. I have tried to control my allergies through nutrition before, but with not much success. But this is a different approach… We’ll see…
